Manchester United's Paul Pogba, played against brother, who is a Saint-Etienne defender, in UEFA Europa League last-32 tie at Old Trafford yesterday. Their mum Yeo Moriba, supported her sons without favouring any, in a match that ended 3-0 in favour of Manchester United; with the return leg to be played next week in France. 23-year-old Paul Pogba is the youngest of the Pogba brothers. Florentin’s twin, Mathias, plays as a striker for Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian's romance is really over, as the couple whose split surprised all last year, have also called off their wedding scheduled to hold this year. The reality TV star couple made up after they broke up last year, and also went separate ways again after someone hacked into Blac Chyna's Instagram account and other unpublished messages, where she made heartbreaking remarks about her boyfriend Rob Kardashian to other men. She left the house with their baby, after Rob confronted her. The couple celebrated their first anniversary this January, where Rob disclosed that he's trying to become a better man and take all the blame. A People's Magazine source close to the couple said; “They split a while ago. The wedding plans are off. They are both trying to be mature about it. It was less dramatic this time.” - - With this, it seems they're never getting back together again.

Nigeria's Minister for Power, Babatunde Fashola, who was the guest speaker at the 12th Monthly Power Sector and Stakeholders’ Meeting in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital revealed he will resist paying his electricty bills over poor services. “The 3,500MW to 3,800MW that we have been able to keep on the grid over the last few months will be assisted greatly if we can have the gas pipelines back and add 3,000MW to it. - - - That means we will be able to deliver well over 6,000MW if the gas pipelines are safe. “Consumers are more resistant to payment when they don’t have electricity, and I will be, too, and you will be too. “We see that they [consumers] pay more when the power is more stable. Of course, there are issues also at the retail end – metering, estimated bills" he said. OMG! Adele broke her Album of the Year Grammy in half so she can give a part to Beyonce! This is coming after Adele beat Beyonce to win the Album Of The Year and said she couldn't possibly accept the award because Beyonce is the artist of her life and Beyonce's album, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental. Adele is now the first person to win Grammys Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year twice.

EFCC discovers Diezani’s $37.5m Banana Island Lagos mansion

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has discovered a $37.5m (N11.75bn) luxury high-rise building on Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, allegedly belonging to the embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke. Saturday PUNCH learnt that the building comprises 18 flats and six penthouses. Properties on Banana Island are believed to be among the most expensive in Africa with a plot of land selling between $4m (N1.25bn) and $6m (N1.8bn), according to Forbes Magazine. The property was allegedly acquired in the name of a shell company, Rusimpex Limited under the control of certain Mr. Afamefuna Nwokedi of Stillwaters law firm, in Lagos.” Last year, the commission seized an $18m mansion in the Asokoro area of Abuja allegedly belonging to the ex-minister. She has, however, denied all the allegations leveled against her.

I won’t return to Nigeria until my doctors are satisfied - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said he would only return to Nigeria when his London doctors certify him well enough to do so. In the February 5 letter to the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, informing the National Assembly of the extension of his vacation, President Buhari wrote: “… I am extending my leave until the doctors are satisfied that certain factors are ruled out,” Mr. Buhari said. The letter was exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday.

On her plans to tie the knot, the Ghanaian actress confirmed it will be in 2017. She said: "This year. I'll be getting married this year." Fans are however, hoping this was an honest answer and not just an attempt to move on from the question.

World's fattest woman lifted by crane and flown to India for surgery

The world's fattest woman has managed to fly from Egypt and land in an Indian city for a life-saving weight reduction surgery. Eman Ahmed Abd El Aty, 36, who weighs 495kg, had not left her home in Alexandria for 25 years as she was unable to move from her bed because of her enormous size. A wall of her room had to be brought down to help bring her out before she was lifted by a crane and placed in an Egypt Air cargo plane. After a seven-hour long flight, she was placed in a mini truck at Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport and transported to Saifee Hospital in Mumbai in western India, where she will undergo a series of Bariatric procedures.

Abraham Kiptum has won the Lagos City Marathon for the second year running with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes. He will be going back to his country, with the star prize of N25m. In 2016, the Kenyan athlete, won the maiden edition of the marathon race with a time of 2 hours, 16 minutes and 19 seconds.
