Coming after Amber Rose boasted about buying Ace of Diamond strip club, as she received the Vanguard Award at the All Def Movie Awards, for her “work on social justice projects like the SlutWalk" , the owners of the popular strip club have slammed her with a $1m lawsuit. Amber, who asked the audience if they knew Ace of Diamonds and replied “I bought it”, is accused by the strip club of lying that she bought them, when she's not even the club's shareholder. SKWS Enterprises- owners of the Los Angeles club, have described her comment as “unequivocally false”, and are suing for over $1m in damages.

The Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday announced that they have reintroduced bank charges on certain categories of cash deposits and withdrawals. This came about three years after the apex bank stopped the charges. In a circular to all Deposit Money Banks posted on its website, the regulator said the decision to reintroduce the charges on cash deposits was part of the review of charges on deposits and withdrawals under the cashless policy. It said the decision was taken at the Bankers’ Committee meeting, which held in Abuja two weeks ago. The circular, signed by the Director, Banking and Payments System Department, CBN, Mr. Dipo Fatokun, stated that the committee decided that the cashless policy should be extended to the remaining 30 states of the federation. It also directed that with effect from April 1, 2017 : Banks in the states where the cashless policy was already operating, Lagos, Ogun, Anambra, Abia, Kano, Rivers and the Federal Capital Territory, would begin to impose

The White House has confirmed that US president Donald Trump has fired his senior US National Security Council adviser, Craig Deare. Reason - Craig dared to criticise Donald Trump administration's Latin American policies. He has been reassigned to his old job at the National Defense University, an appointed position he's held since January 2001. Sarah Sanders, a White House spokeswoman said Craig Deare was removed from his role as a senior adviser at the National Security Council's Western Hemisphere division Friday and "sent back to his original position'.

Ronaldo is expected to appear in a TV drama series about Syrian refugees, “Hayat Koprusu” trying to escape war. Director of the series, Eyup Dirlik said Ronaldo will make a cameo appearance. He further added that it will feature actors and actresses from all over the world. The TV series will be released in April of this year.
