Serie A giants Inter Milan confirm Jovetic loan deal

Former Fiorentina star striker Stevan Jovetic has struggled to bring his talent to bear in the English Premier League, with just 8 goals in 30 appearances during his time at Manchester City. He has decided to return Italy where he originally made a name for himself after securing a loan deal with Serie A giants, Inter Milan. A deal that will see him spend the next two seasons at the San Siro.
“Tomorrow, Stevan Jovetic will be in Milan and on Tuesday, he will undergo medical examination” the club posted via its official Twitter handle, confirming the agreement reached with Manchester City, prior to the arrival of the player in the Lombard city.
The Nerazzurri will have a purchase option at the end of the two-year loan. The arrival of the Montenegrin international is great news for Roberto Mancini.
“I’ve tried to sign Jovetic in my last season at Manchester City but he arrived when I was already gone. He can play as a point or as a supporting striker or on the wings as he has shown over time” the Italian said.
Along with Mauro Icardi, Rodrigo Palacio and Geoffrey Kondogbia, Stevan Jovetic will try to prove he has lost none of the qualities that general public in Italy have come to enjoy over the years.
