Neymar Barcelona star launches football’s first Jordan shoe-line


Barcelona star Neymar has unveiled football first Michael Jordan shoe-line.

NBA legend Michael Jordan has a huge successful sneaker-line with Nike which has been replicated by several basketball stars.
Neymar has become the first footballer to launch his own line of the same shoe-line.


The new Nike boot has the Jordan's iconic 'Jumpman' logo on it his boots, the NBA legend’s No 23 at the back along with No 10 – which is the number Neymar wears for Brazil.

Called the Jordan V, the boot has the fighter jet shark teeth on the front.

Jordan's brand will release a Neymar edition of Jordan V Low with the Barcelona man's name stitched inside the tongue.
Neymar has put his own stamp on the tongue-less Hypervenom by ensuring the initials of his son - DL (David Lucca) - and the Brazil flag are placed on the boot.

According to Nike, Neymar and Jordan collaborated out on the new boot due to the mutual respect they share thanks to their sporting achievements in basketball and football respectively.

The boot is priced at N65, 550 ($190) and available to buy on Nike.com from June 3.
“Michael Jordan set the standard for greatness. He’s an incredible competitor and a champion. I’ve always admired him, so to collaborate with him and have his icon on my boots means a great deal to me,” Neymar said.

“I'm excited that Neymar and the Jordan Brand are working together,” Jordan also said.
“I'm a fan of his creativity, style and passion for the game of soccer. He's a special player and I look forward to this collaboration.'

PDP Apologise to Jonathan, Nigerians for your lies,' Party tells APC
