Leicester City Players to receive cars as rewards for Premier League win
Billionaire owner of Leicester City will get every player in the first team a car as rewards for winning the Premier League.
Leicester City players will each receive a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive from the club owner as reward for winning the Premier League.
The Foxes’ first league title in their history was confirmed afterTottenham-their closest challenger- were held to a 2-2 draw away at Chelsea.
With that draw, it means Leicester City who are seven points ahead of Spurs with just two games to go, are champions of England.
Thai businessman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who is the owner of Leicester City is determined to remand the 30-man team for winning the league.
According to Daily Mail, each player will receive a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive which cost £32,670.
The billionaire has also promised the players an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the success.
£6.5m will also be split between the squad under the terms of the club's bonus agreement with the Premier League.
Manager Claudio Ranieri will also get a £5m according to reports.
Ranieri also has a separate clause in his contract that guarantees him 100,000 pounds for every place that his team finish above 18th, which will see him earn 1.7 million pounds if the Foxes come first.
