Samuel Eto'o African football legend receives huge bonus for 20-goal feat


Eto’o, in 2015 joined the Turkey club on a three-year playing deal and has now been handed a reward for his impressive form in front of goal.

African football legend Samuel Eto'o has been paid a cash bonus of €250,000 from his club, Antalyaspor for scoring 20 goals this season.

According to the Cameroon-Concord, a clause of a €250,000 bonus was included in the contract of the 35-year-old if he scores up to 20 goals this season.
Following his goal on Sunday, May 1 in Antalyaspor’s 1-0 win over Konyaspor, the former Barcelona and Chelsea striker has received the bonus.
In the Turkish Supper Lig, Eto’o with 20 goals his only behindMario Gomez who has 24 goals.
The Cameroonian legend reportedly earns €8million per year at his club in Turkey.
He made his debut for the club on August, 15 2015 in a league match against İstanbul Başakşehir, scoring two goals and helping Antalyaspor win 3–2.

Eto'o had a blistering start to the season, scoring 13 goals in his first 15 games, and was named the interim player-manager for the team after the previous coach, Yusuf Şimşek, was sacked in December.
He continued in this capacity until José Morais was hired as Şimşek's permanent replacement on January 2016.
