Arrieta goes 6-0 for Cubs, Smoak smacks Blue Jays walk-off


Jake Arrieta stole the headlines again with a superb showing for the Chicago Cubs in their 7-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Jake Arrieta continues to dominate on the road for the Chicago Cubs as he retired 15 Pittsburgh Pirates in a row during his side's 7-1 win.
Arrieta has now won his first six starts of the season, the first Cub since 1908 to do so.
The Toronto Blue Jays improved to 13-15 thanks to Justin Smoak's walk-off shot in the 10th for a 3-1 win over the Texas Rangers.
Francisco Lindor scored three runs and hit a three-run homer in the Cleveland Indians' 7-3 win over the Detroit Tigers, while the Baltimore Orioles picked up a 15th win of the season in a 4-1 triumph over the New York Yankees.
The Miami Marlins beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-4, the Atlanta Braves shut out the New York Mets 3-0, while the Los Angeles Dodgers won a high-scoring affair against the Tampa Bay Rays 10-5.
The San Francisco Giants defeated the Cincinnati Reds 3-1, while the Chicago White Sox beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1 and the Milwaukee Brewers were 5-4 winners against the Los Angeles Angels.
Danny Santana homered in the Minnesota Twins' 6-4 loss against the Houston Astros, the Philadelphia Phillies beat the St Louis Cardinals 1-0 and the Kansas City Royals won a 7-6 thriller against the Washington Nationals - just their eighth defeat of the season.
The Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland Athletics 8-2 and the Colorado Rockies lost out 6-3 against the San Diego Padres.


ARRIETA DOMINATES AGAIN
Arrieta threw seven scoreless innings after walking the Pirates' first two hitters on Tuesday as his amazing start to the season continues.
He held Pittsburgh to two singles all game, drawing significant praise from Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, who said: "It's the complete package, man. He's on top of his game."


ALL-ACTION LINDOR
Indians shortstop Lindor is a human vacuum. He also went three-for-four with a home run, three runs scored and three RBIs.

PDP Apologise to Jonathan, Nigerians for your lies,' Party tells APC
