OFFICIAL: GABRIEL JESUS COMPLETES MAN CITY MOVE

The Brazil international agreed to join the Premier League outfit in the summer but is now available for selection having arrived in the UK

Manchester City have completed their move for Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazil international agreed to join Pep Guardiola's side during the summer transfer window but saw out the season with Palmeiras before arriving in Manchester in early January.

And the Etihad Stadium outfit have now completed all the relevant paperwork, meaning the striker will be available for selection.

The 19-year-old will provide competition for Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho having made a bright start to his career.

Gabriel scored 28 goals in 85 matches for Palmeiras and has netted five times in six games for Brazil, while he also contributed to their gold medal success at the 2016 Olympics.

"I want to win titles and Manchester City is a club that is used to winning," he told City's official website.

"City is a Club that always competes for the title in the competitions it enters, so that was an important factor, and because of the manager, Guardiola, and the squad."

Gabriel will wear the No.33 shirt and could make his debut in Saturday's crunch clash against title rivals Tottenham.
