Buhari Don’t take Nigerians for granted - Cardinal Okogie tells President



The cardinal also said Buhari should go back to the drawing board, while urging him to do all he can to revamp the state of the economy.

The Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie has called onPresident Buhari not to take the goodwill of Nigerians for granted.

Okojie said Nigeria needs a leader who will unite the country and not divide it.
He said “If President Buhari wants to make a quick turn back, he should take his inaugural speech and the All Progressive Congress, APC, manifesto, study them and then start afresh.
“At this stage of my life, I can only advise and admonish our policy makers, especially in the education sector, that are now battling with the lives of innocent children, to allow education to flourish; for if education does not flourish, our country cannot flourish.
“You have already seen it in some parts of the country. We have seen it in some of our children’s behaviours.”
President Buhari is expected back in the country on Sunday, June 19, 2016.
