Edo Election PDP reduces fee for governorship forms to N13m from N16m
The reduction came after aspirants were said to have complained about the high cost of the forms.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has returned N3 million to each aspirants who purchased the party's Edo State governorship election forms for N16 million.

According to the party's publicity secretary in Edo State, Chris Nehikhare, the party reduced the fee from N16 million to N13 million, with N10 million being for the form, N1 million for expression of interest, and N2 million for administrative charges.
The election is scheduled for September 10, 2016.
However, the party had held a successful ward and local government congresses to elect the special delegates that will elect its candidate for the governorship election, with Gabriel Suswam, former Benue State governor, as the head of the committee that supervised the congresses.
The party has also concluded the screening of its aspirants that are contesting its primary election and a certificate was issued to each of the aspirants after screening them this week.
The three PDP aspirants are Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Solomon Edebiri and Mathew Iduoriyekemwen.
The PDP primary election is scheduled to hold on Monday, June 20, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium under the chairmanship of Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.
