Super Eagles Nigeria seeded in pot 2 of 2018 World Cup qualifiers

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been seeded in pot two of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday, June 9 announced the seeding of the countries that will play in the qualification proper.
In the draw that will hold on Friday, June 24, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been seeded in Pot 2 alongside Cape Verde, Egypt, Congo DR, Nigeria and Mali
Nigeria will be avoiding Egypt who beat them in the race for 2017 African Cup of Nations as two countries in same pot will be separated at the main draw.
The top pot, Pot 1, contains Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal and Tunisia.
Nigeria will face one team from Pot 1 and the other Pots.
Pot 3 has Cameroon, Morocco, Guinea, South Africa and Congo. In Pot 4 we have Uganda, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Gabon and Libya.
The 20 teams will be divided into five groups of four each, the teams playing on a home and away basis. Only the top team from each group will qualify for Russia 2018.
The pots:
